Jewellery designer

Patrick’s journey  to becoming a goldsmith began with the Crafts Council of Ireland’s two year Jewellery Design & Production Skills course in Kilkenny in 1995.

This was followed by a six year apprenticeship with a leading London goldsmith during which he learned traditional goldsmithing skills and was awarded the Gem Diamond Diploma by the British Gemmological Association.

In 2011 he set up his work studio/shop  in West Cork on the Southwest coast of Ireland.

With over fifteen years experience designing and making fine jewellery in precious metal with fine quality gemstones,  every creation carrying the Patrick Roche stamp carries a guarantee of quality and consummate craftsmanship.

For clients who are seeking something unique and personal to them, a visit to Patrick’s studio will provide them with the opportunity to collaborate directly with the designer/maker.

My design philosophy focuses on the creation of original contemporary jewellery using uncompromising craftsmanship and goldsmithing skills.”
